The Ushers Ministry is a non-denominational ministry composed of dedicated Christians. Our purpose is to promote Christian fellowship, welcome, to seat and serve all who enter the Sanctuary.We are committed to a uniform method of ushering, rendering services whenever needed. We dedicate ourselves to serving with reverence, exemplifying respect, politeness, patience and integrity.

We strive diligently to plan and implement projects that will enhance the financial goals of our church, stimulate interest and growth in our ministry, and promote spiritual commitment.

Our Activities
We have two major activities each year. The first is a musical held each May. The second is our annual sermon that is held in September. The funds we raise through these activities are turned over to the church. We are God’s children and are working for His glory.

Dues and Chicago Zone Information
We are all members of the Unit Church Ushers Board League Chicago Zone. We are also a part of the National United Church Ushers Association of America, Inc., which was organized in 1919 in Philadelphia, PA.

Usher dues are $38.00 per year. Monthly business meetings are held every third Saturday at 1:00pm at Cal-Met Village.
