Mission Statement
The Stewards/Altar Circle Ministry supports the mission of the church through the preparation for and participation in the religious services of the church.
Duties
The Stewards/Altar Circle Ministry has been supporting the religious services of Metropolitan community Church for over 50 years. The Stewards/Altar Circle:
- Prepare and assist in baptisms
- Prepare and assist in communion
- Prepare palms for Ash Wednesday and Palm Sunday
- Visit with the sick and shut-in
- Welcome new members
- Keep altar paraments and furnishings cleaned
Assist with special services such as Holy Week and Revival |
