Mission Statement
The Ministry of Stewards supports the mission of the church through the preparation for and participation in the religious services of the church.
Duties
The Ministry of Stewards has been supporting the religious services of Metropolitan community Church for over 50 years. The Stewards:
- Prepare and assist in baptisms
- Prepare and assist in communion
- Prepare palms for Ash Wednesday and Palm Sunday
- Visit with the sick and shut-in
- Welcome new members
- Keep altar paraments and furnishings cleaned
- Assist with special services such as Holy Week and Revival
