The Word of God, through Christian Education, is interwoven into every ministry of the Metropolitan Community Church. We know that the Word of God is the foundation that establishes and strengthens faith for all of God’s people. Teaching the Word of God builds up, edifies and equips the children of God to be living epistles who exemplify the Spirit of God in their daily lives. Therefore, we believe that guiding others in their search to know more about the Word of God and His will for their lives will manifest in fellowship, obedience, personal life and a nearness to God.

Teaching the Word of God leads our church family to a closer relationship with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know that the life of every church member, through Christian Education, will be transformed to reflect God in their homes, the local church, the broader community and the Body of Christ. It is through Christian Education, prayer and supplication that we seek the knowledge, understanding and the wisdom of God. Lo, we teach the Word of God to prepare His people to go into the world spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We were created to Praise God and to know that God Inhabits the Praise of His people.
