Our Mission:

The Africa Mission Ministry is charged to design, develop, coordinate, and/or implement the church wide outreach mission programs in Ghana, West Africa in particular, and people on the African Continent in general.

Scope of Our 2011 Mission Efforts:

  • Expands cultural and historical knowledge of the peoples of Ghana, West Africa that will lead to strengthening our Christian faith, establishing and maintaining positive Christian relationships, and contributes to a changed life for people in the world community.
  • Develop Christian ministry activities that provide humanitarian work that will assist in economic development, literacy, education, health care, orphanages, and evangelization to peoples in Ghana, West African, in particular, and people on the African continent in general.
  • Provide members and friends of the congregation of Metropolitan Community Church with (1) exposure and general information on the peoples of the African continent; (2) onsite review of; and (3) direct contact with the Ghanaians that will be receiving support through the MCC Ghana Mission Outreach project.
  • Develop personal connection to and empathy with the orphans and their caretakers residing at the MCC "Where Eagles Fly" orphanage in Ghana, West Africa.
