So what do do you think about the Metro Message Board? Your thoughts are appreciated and welcomed.

I like it! Hopefully, others feel the same and will respond. Keep up the good work.

Thank you.  The Website Ministry appreciates your kind words, as each member of the ministry is committed to sharing the good news about the MCC and the messages received from our viewers.

I love it and I did thank you in one of my posts for giving me a place to come to talk freely about God and what He does for me. One place I am a member of have called me Holy Roller because I want to talk about God. They wanted to insult me, but I took it as a compliment.

Can I start a post for prayer requests. Would that be ok? And everyone could just post prayer requests at the same place. Since there is not a lot of people that would probably work good. I feel so strongly in prayer and sometimes we just are uplifted knowing that others are praying for our needs.

Thank you again
God bless

Adra,

Thank you for finding the Metro Website Message Board.  Your presence has truly been a God-send.  You not only share your life, you inspire others to think about their journeys.  Thank you. Thank you.

Per your request for a post for prayer requests, are you asking that we add a new Forum to the Board for these requests? Are you requesting that visitors add prayers that don't require a response?   If yes, then we think this is doable.  However, if prayers need a response from our Clergy, we suggest that they use the Prayer Request Link on the Home Page of the Website.  Let us know your thoughts.

You are welcome.

I had not thought about letting visiters post requests and that would be such a wonderful thing. We would have to be careful about it because sometimes some people are not nice and they may post things that could be offensive.

With me it is enough to know that other Christians read my prayer requests and I know that as they read they are bringing my name and my requests to the Father.

I like the idea but am worried about the non-Christians that may find their way here and decide to post.

I like the prayer request link and it is certainly necessary because sometimes you need prayer and counseling that you don't want to talk about where everyone can read.

If you do have an open forum for prayer requests, would you consider putting someone as moderator over it so they can monitor it often?

Thank you for your response and for thinking and praying about my request.

Adra,

Thank you for your response. If you ever move to Chicago, please know that you have a church family that will greet you with love.

We appreciate your comments about posting prayer requests.  We, too, agree that a Forum for prayer requests may solicit undesirable comments from non-believers and, unfortunately, we do not have the manpower to monitor such a Forum.

Please know that we love and appreciate you.

I understand-

But, would you be willing to make a post labeled "Prayer Requests" and make it sticky so it will stay at top and then the members could post their prayer requests? I know that not many people post here but I am praying for this site to increase. I feel it is a great ministry tool.

Thank you for the wonderful/warm invite to your church.   I know I will never move there but it would be nice to visit.

BTW I do have some administrator/moderator experience, and if you ever need someone to just moderate I would be more than willing to help out.

Dear Adra,

Thank you for your offer, but we must decline.

The Moderator would have to be a member of our faith community.

Are you sure you don't want to move to Chicago and become a member of our faith community?

LOL @ me

After 2 days of praying and thinking I finally understand.   You were not talking about our faith community as in a child of God but you meant a member of your brick and mortar building.

Sometimes I am so slow. I blame my spiritual youthfulness, and over enthusiasm.

I am sorry for putting you on the spot and I do beg your forgiveness.
