What Does Your Fruit Say About You?
Are You Bearing Fruit?
by Nicole Mandeville

““I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5

Embracing the Vision

You may wonder how embracing the vision relates to spiritual fruit. Scripture tells us that without a vision people perish. It simply means that without having goals, dreams or aspirations we become content and we do not strive to do our best.

  1. God wants us to prosper, however, we must prove that we are good stewards of what God has provided.
  2. What is the vision for the body of Christ? That we build-up the “Church”, not of brick and mortar, through the winning of souls.
  3. In order to be able to embrace the vision we must exercise the fruit of the spirit. We must bear good fruit in order to draw others to Christ. How can we draw others if we ourselves lack the love and peace of God? How can we tell someone to be patient and wait on God if we are not exercising longsuffering?

  Where's the Fruit?

Have you looked in the mirror lately? What do you see? What do others see when they look at you? Is your fruit bitter and sour? Or is it sweet and refreshing? Remember that we are trying to win souls, not repel them. Pray daily that the Fruits of the Spirit operate in your life.

Faith Without Works is Dead!

Caution! As you embrace the vision, God will place in your heart the words to use that will encourage a loved one, friend, or co-worker to give their life to Christ. Remember that with God all things are possible.

“But he that received seed into the good ground is he that beareth the word, and understandeth it, which also beareth fruit, and bringeth , some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Matthew 13:23
