About the Pastor

Rev. Darryl N. Person has nurtured his call into God’s ministry of service for more than two decades. From his childhood days as a member of Chicago’s Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church to his current duties as Associate Pastor at the Metropolitan Community Church, he has always sought unique ways to bring God’s words and teachings to his brothers and sisters in Christ.

To prepare for his call and future service to God’s people, Rev. Person’s formal studies emphasized Christian training, organizational development and business administration. At the same time, he has completed extensive studies in pastoral counseling, church administration and community involvement.
